Legal Workshop Indonesia Share Acquisition

Jakarta, June 2025. Dr. Eddy Marek Leks, Managing Partner of Leks&Co, was honored to be a speaker in a workshop titled “Legal Due Diligence in Share Acquisition: What to Check and Why It Matters” organized by National Business Law Community (NBLC). NBLC is a non-profit organization that is not affiliated with any political group that consists of Business Law Student Organizations from various universities across Indonesia.

Led by Dr. Leks, Managing Partner of Leks&Co, this workshop provides an in-depth examination of legal due diligence as a critical step in shares acquisitions. The session cover essential topics, including the objectives, process, and benefits of legal due diligence; key areas of focus such as corporate documents, licensing, compliance, assets, and litigation; and common findings that impact transaction structure and risk mitigation. This workshop aims to help students of law understand the practical and legal complexities of acquiring shares in Indonesia.

Eddy M. Leks is an Indonesian lawyer focusing on CCRE (contract, construction, real estate, and environment) and arbitrator.
