
Jakarta, December 2025 — Our Founder and Managing Partner Dr. Eddy M. Leks, participated as one of the panel speakers at the ADR Webinar 2025 titled Mitigating Construction Challenges: Dispute Avoidance & Resolution. The webinar was organized by Pusat Mediasi Nasional (PMN) in collaboration with the L2 and ESG ADR Forum, bringing together legal professionals, construction industry stakeholders, and dispute resolution practitioners to explore proven legal along with effective approaches for mitigating construction risks, managing and preventing disputes in construction projects, and resolving conflicts efficiently through Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) mechanisms.
Drawing on his extensive professional experience, Dr. Eddy participated as one of panelist in Session 1 entitled “Legal Framework for Construction Mediation in Indonesia.” The session explored the statutory and regulatory framework for construction mediation in Indonesia, including key legislation governing arbitration, alternative dispute resolution, and construction services, and their relevance to dispute management in complex construction projects.
In his remarks, Dr. Leks underscored that dispute avoidance is no longer optional, but a critical success factor in modern construction projects. He highlighted the types of mediation (facilitative and evaluative), settlement model and expert-advisory mediation, project mediation and deal mediator, timing to initiate the mediation procedure, med-arb and arb-med framework.
The ADR Webinar 2025 served as an influential knowledge platform, enabling industry stakeholders to exchange forward-looking perspectives on dispute prevention and resolution.
