As highlighted in the ALB Magazine September 2017, M&A activities in Indonesia have doubled in the first quarter, compared with the corresponding period last year, 81 M&A deals have recorded in the first six months of the year, with a total value of approximately $4 billion, an increase from 71 M&A deals worth $1.9 billion in the first half of 2016. Technology was the largest sector in value, followed by the agriculture sector.
