Awaiting the Agrarian Law Reform

On this article he mentions about land disputes are related to other factors such as land administration. A solid land administration will hugely reduce the number ofland disputes. According to the Ministry of Agrarian and Spatial Planning, the root of land dispute is ownership proof and inequality in land possession. Minister Sofyan Djalil noted that most  disputes are among individuals, reaching 56.2% (6,071 cases) of all land disputes in Indonesia. Ambiguity on the certainty over land ownership leads to unlawful land  possession. Squatters, for example, often consider the land they inhabit is theirs. This creates enormous problems in land procurement for projects.
